Abstract

The importance of forming a responsible attitude of students so that they understand their obligations cannot be separated from the role of a teacher. Including the role of the Indonesian History teacher. The Indonesian History subject has characteristics related to character education. This prompted researchers to examine the role of the Indonesian History teacher in forming an attitude of responsibility at MAN 2 Malang. This study aims to (1) describe the role of Indonesian History teachers in shaping students' responsible attitudes at MAN 2 Malang. (2) Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Indonesian History teacher's role in shaping students' responsible attitudes at MAN 2 Malang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation with informants from school principals, deputy curriculum heads, Indonesian history teachers, and students of class VIII Religion and class XII IPS 1. Data analysis used was data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. To test the validity of the data using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that: (1) Indonesian history teachers played a role in shaping students' responsible attitudes at MAN 2 Malang, integrating character education with Indonesian history subjects and playing a role in fulfilling students' responsible attitude indicators. (2) Factors supporting the role of the Indonesian History teacher are the infrastructure and characteristics of the Indonesian History subject. The inhibiting factors for the role of the Indonesian History teacher were the limited infrastructure and the diverse personalities of the students.
 ABSTRAK
 Pentingnya pembentukkan sikap tanggung jawab siswa guna memahami kewajibannya tentu tidak lepas dari peran seorang guru. Termasuk di dalamnya peran guru Sejarah Indonesia. Mata pelajaran Sejarah Indonesia memiliki karakteristik yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan karakter. Hal tersebut mendorong peneliti untuk mengkaji tentang peran guru Sejarah Indonesia dalam membentuk sikap tanggung jawab di MAN 2 Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan peran guru Sejarah Indonesia dalam membentuk sikap tanggung jawab siswa di MAN 2 Malang. (2) Mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat peran guru Sejarah Indonesia dalam membentuk sikap tanggung jawab siswa di MAN 2 Malang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan narasumber kepala sekolah, wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, guru Sejarah Indonesia, dan 8 siswa kelas 12 Agama dan 8 siswa kelas 12 IPS 1. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) guru Sejarah Indonesia berperan dalam dalam membentuk sikap tanggung jawab siswa di MAN 2 Malang, mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dengan mata pelajaran Sejarah Indonesia serta berperan dalam memenuhi indikator sikap tanggung jawab siswa. (2) Faktor pendukung peran guru Sejarah Indonesia yakni sarana prasarana dan karakteristik mata pelajaran Sejarah Indonesia. Adapun faktor penghambat peran guru Sejarah Indonesia yakni keterbatasan sarana prasarana dan kepribadian siswa yang beragam.
