Abstract

This research attempts to describe the role of the church in providing non-formal education to children in the Labara BNKP Congregation, Resort 38. The church is the beacon of hope for parents and children in obtaining non-formal education services when most parents are unable to accompany their children. in studying at home. This research is very important as an evaluation and reference material for the development of church education programs. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with informants consisting of children, parents, church elders and pastors of the Lebara church, Resort 38. The results showed that the church has played a role in providing children's non-formal education services through the Sunday school program, Saturday program. cheerful, and additional learning programs.
