Abstract

The research article is about a training program aimed at improving hair cutting skills using a mannequin as a tool for learning. The program was conducted for teacher who teach students with special needs and aimed to develop their technical skills, communication, and interaction with clients. The research method used in the study is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The study aimed to improve the skills of cutting hair using the Serbaneka (statue) media as a learning aid. The study was conducted in two cycles, and data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the use of Serbaneka media as a learning aid in hair cutting skills training was effective in improving the skills of the participants. The study also suggested several strategies to improve the teaching of hair cutting skills, such as using attractive teaching methods, incorporating hair cutting skills into the curriculum, and prioritizing the budget for hair cutting skills training. The recommendations of the research were to incorporate hair cutting skills into the curriculum of schools, to provide training for teachers and school administrators, and to promote the use of mannequins as a tool for learning.
