Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying online literature on understanding science concepts and to find out an increase in students' understanding of science concepts. This research is a quantitative research with experimental method. Quantitative research is used to analyze understanding of science concepts using online literature. The design of the experimental method used is a quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental) with a one-group pretest-posttest design. This research was carried out at SD 2 Pringtulis, Nalumsari District, Jepara Regency. The research subjects were 5th grade students of SD 02 Pringtulis which collected 22 students. Data collection techniques used include tests, questionnaires, interviews, research documentation. Data analysis using simple regression and N-Gain test. The results of this study indicate that online literacy has a positive effect on the ability to understand science concepts. The results of the N-Gain test showed that there was an increase in the pretest and posttest scores for the ability to understand concepts.
