Abstract

This study aims to determine 1). How strong is the effect of compensation on employee performance, 2). How strong is the influence of motivation collectively on employee performance, 3). Does compensation and motivation influence simultaneously on employee job satisfaction. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collected by questionnaire technique. Respondents in this study were 40 people. The hypothesis is formulated and tested using multiple linear regression. The variables used in this survey include compensation (X1) and work motivation (X2) as independent (free) variables and employee performance (Y) as the dependent (bound) variable. This research process includes problem identification, case studies, proposing hypotheses, determining methods, compiling research instruments, collecting and analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. The research results show (1) compensation has an effect on employee performance, (2) work motivation has an effect on employee performance, (3) Compensation and work motivation simultaneously have no effect on employee performance
