Abstract

Entrepreneurship or Entrepreneurship is often discussed by many circles. At present Indonesia is still lagging behind in economic problems due to low economic growth, high number of unemployed, poverty, and income inequality. Entrepreneurship that arises in families or community groups is a very valuable asset for anyone. Even for the Indonesian nation as a whole, entrepreneurial activities will help the Indonesian economy and prosper the people. Business opportunities are basically very many, but it really depends on ideas, innovation and people's ability to read business opportunities. The ability of our community is still low in opening a business, this is due to the ability in entrepreneurial knowledge that is still not deeply understood by our society. This is shown by the initial survey of researchers who should Entrepreneurial abilities possessed by business actors should theoretically affect business results. But this is not the case. The use of social media should be able to encourage the business marketing process carried out by business actors, but the reality in the field is very minimal role of social media on business success. Based on the things mentioned above, researchers are interested in conducting a study entitled "THE INFLUENCE OF ENTREPRENEURIAL ABILITY AND SOCIAL MEDIA ON BUSINESS SUCCESS", IN THE Nginden Jangkungan sub-district area of Surabaya city.
