Abstract
The level of sharia financial literacy in North Maluku province has an important role in supporting community participation in sharia financial institutions. In the context of North Maluku, sharia financial literacy makes a significant contribution to sharia financial inclusion. Its archipelagic territory and wide population distribution are thought to be the causal factors. Another thing that is an obstacle to the availability of sharia financial services is the strength of the internet network which is often disrupted because the area is hilly and has islands. The intervention in this community service activity is an effort to increase literacy as well as open up opportunities for inclusion with existing resources. If conventional or out-of-network services are not available, intervention can be carried out using an in-network approach. This service uses a participatory rural approach. The method for implementing the PKM Research-Based Study Program is carried out using the Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach. CBPR is a method that involves the community and related parties in analyzing problems, taking problem-solving actions to create community independence and strive for social, economic and environmental changes in society. This method stimulates the knowledge capital of the Waisipang village community. Keywords: Sharia Financial Literation;Community Service; Island Community.
