Abstract
Based on observed research data, the volume of organic waste is increasing along with population growth, the number of consumers using food, and even the number of people interested in living necessities is increasing. With the increasing volume, it can be handled using the maggot media program to handle soil pollution by organic waste. From the data obtained, it was found that decomposition was faster in soft fruit waste and soft vegetable waste, then decomposition took longer in hard vegetable waste. This is because maggots, or fly larvae, more often choose to consume soft vegetable waste than hard ones.
