Abstract

The focus is on strengthening Islamic personal development involving students, teachers, and staff. The evaluation of new student admissions indicates that 25-30% of parents choose this school due to the motive of Islamic development. This qualitative research aims to analyze the impact of Islamic personality development on significant changes in students’ religious aspects and understand parents’ motivation in choosing SMP Islam Terpadu Bina Insan Kamil Sidareja as an educational institution for their children. Using a descriptive approach, data is obtained through document analysis, interviews, and observations of the Islamic boarding school program. The results show a positive impact of strengthening Islamic personal development, with specifically managed Islamic boarding school programs being a strong reason for high parental preference. The integrated management of Islamic personal development distinguishes this school, reinforcing the excellence in the field of religion as a primary strength in improving the quality and services of education. This research provides a deeper understanding of the importance of Islamic personality development in the context of Integrated Islamic education and contributes to the increase in the number of new student admissions.
