Abstract

All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing.This document contains detailed information on the procedure for reviewing the materials of the I International Scientific Conference «Volga Region Farmland 2021», organized on the basis of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «Penza State Agrarian University», Penza.• The organization of the conference included: informing about the conference, invitations for publication, work with applications and materials for reports and publications, correspondence with the authors, organization of the process of review, proofreading, selection and preparation of articles for their inclusion in the proceedings.• Type of review: double-blind peer review.• Number of submissions received: 58, number of submissions sent for review: 49, number of accepted submissions: 48.• The acceptance rate (number of accepted submissions/number of submissions received × 100) is 82.7.• The average number of reviews per paper is 1.• The total number of involved reviewers is 34.• Further information on the peer review process:- All articles submitted for review have undergone a peer review process in accordance with the standards of editorial ethics, the international practice of editing, review, publication and authorship of scientific publications and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics;- Authors should only submit original work. When using textual or graphic information obtained from the work of others, reference to the publication or written permission of the author is necessary. Plagiarism of any kind is regarded as unethical behaviour and is unacceptable;- The materials received were reviewed by the members of the editorial board, the invited editor and the head of the research department of Penza State Agrarian University;- Each reviewer has a scientific degree and is a recognised expert in the field;- Based on the results of the review process, a decision is made as to whether the article will be published or not;- Upon completion of the review process, materials prepared for publication in accordance with the requirements of the journal are submitted to the publisher.
