Peer review declaration

Abstract

All conference organisers/editors are required to declare details about their peer review. Therefore, please provide the following information:• Type of peer review: Single-blindThe IC-STAR 2020 Committee use a single-blind review process where the identity of author is made known to the reviewers, but the authors do not know who reviewed their article.For each paper, the Editors will do first screening by determining (a) the suitability with scope, (b) similarity index, using official iThenticate (Turnitin) that should be max 20% similarity, (c) presentation style, language and formatting, and (d) overall technical correctness.Once the paper passes the screening, the Editors will assign at least 2 reviewers. Once comments and recommendation from reviewers are collected, the Editors will decide acceptance, revision, or rejection. For revision, the authors will be asked to address the reviewer's comments along with the revised manuscript.• Conference submission management system: EasyCair management system• Number of submissions received: 153• Number of submissions sent for review: 99• Number of submissions accepted: 73• Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100): 47,71%• Average number of reviews per paper: 1,5• Total number of reviewers involved: 50• Any additional info on review process: The IC-STAR 2020 committee used similarity detection software for each submitted full paper contribution. For clearance to the next stage of review process, the maximum similarity index is at 25%. Full papers with higher similarity index were individually checked for possible international plagiarism or duplication. When there is clear indication of international plagiarism or duplication, the particular paper is rejected.
