Abstract

This work is a part of long-term investigations carried out by the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics of Constitutive Immunity at Petrozavodsk State University. The paper describes development of approaches to genetic information analysis as applied to septic shock sensitivity investigation on basis of a mice model. The septic shock can be modeled by the injection of tumor necrosis factor (TNF). The paper describes two methods of finding markers combinations (patterns) affecting resistance to TNF. The developed algorithms were implemented and applied to the input data. The results showed the significant correspondence between some chromosome markers and resistance to TNF.
