Abstract
A passive mixer with 24-GHz local oscillator (LO) signal generator is proposed for low-power receiver. The proposed circuit is designed and fabricated in 130-nm CMOS technology. With the 24-GHz LO signal, the mixer can down-convert the radio frequency (RF) signal to the intermediate frequency (IF) signal. At a supply voltage of 1.3 V, the proposed circuit has the power consumption of 11.86 mW, which is applicable for low power system.
