Abstract
The study proposes an analysis of voting participation in the Oltenia region for the presidential elections held from 1990 to 2019. The analysis focuses on the second round of the elections and is based on qualitative research, which involves the processing of existing data for voting participation at the regional level in the national context, and on the quantitative research, which highlights the statistical data regarding the voting participation in the Oltenia area, in the second round of the presidential elections, and comparative graphs, which highlight the electoral behavior in the regional political space.
