Abstract
This research validates a mixed integer linear programming model that minimizes total feeding and acquisition costs by integrating assembly line feeding and vehicle type decisions in a machinery manufacturing company. The results show that the optimal assignment reduces costs by 56% compared with the company's current assignment.
