P‐93: Development of Flexible display for a Pen‐drop Function

Abstract

Folding screen as the display benchmark of the new era, provide consumers with great portability as the size of diversified changes. at the same time, due to the need to meet the folding characteristics, the flexible material in the screen replaced the original rigid material, thus the hidden trouble caused by the flexible material also appeared. Among them, the cover plate materials led by CPI and PET are the preferred materials for folding screens. Due to the low rigidity of polymer material, it has good flexible folding and poor impact resistance. BOE has done research on improving the pen drop characteristics of flexible folding screen.
