Abstract
Investigations with new types of air diffusers made of porous plastic materials were carried out. For the preparation of the diffusers, powdered unfractionated plastics such as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polystyrene (PS), polyethylene (PE) and fractionated polystyrene (PS) were used. Pressure losses for both wetted and not wetted diffusers, as well as oxygenation capacity and oxygen absorption efficiency were determined.
