Out-gassing measurement of air-baked SS 304L material by pressure-rise method

Abstract

Abstract Out-gassing measurement of air-baked 2∇ surface finished SS 304L material was carryout by pressure-rise method. This material was neither polished nor chemically treated before measurement. The surface was water cleaned to remove the oil contamination and then dried with dry air. The outgassing of this material was found to be ≤ 10−15 mbar l/s/cm2 even after long exposure to atmospheric condition.
