Abstract
Aceh is one of the provinces that has become an area with large balancing funds through the allocation of special additional funds to finance development activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the Aceh Special Autonomy Fund (DOKA) in development of Aceh Barat Regency and to determine whether development through DOKA had a significant impact on development in Aceh Barat Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study can be concluded that the Optimization of the Special Autonomy Fund for Aceh (DOKA) for Development in Aceh Barat Regency in 2019-2022 has a significant impact on development in Aceh Barat Regency, such as in the construction of a ring road in Aceh Barat Regency which aims to open economic access for people in remote areas.
