Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of the work environment on employee performance at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council of Aceh Barat Regency which is motivated by the low performance of DPRD employees in Aceh Barat Regency. The low performance of these employees is due to the non-optimal work environment. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the magnitude of the influence of the work environment is measured through indicators of work layout, indoor light, room temperature and humidity, room sound, work atmosphere, work security, work structure, work responsibility, attention and support from leaders, cooperation between groups and the fluency of communication all of which affect organizational performance as measured include indicators of punctuality, work accuracy, work skills, routine output in the number of tasks, non-routine outputs of special instructions, abilities, initiatives, attitudes towards the organization, attitudes towards other employees, attitudes towards work, and attitudes towards cooperation at the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives of Aceh Barat Regency are in the very high category, which has an effect of 97.70% (R Square value) this proves that the work environment has a positive and significant influence on employee performance at the DPRD Secretariat Aceh Bara . District t, while the remaining 2.30% is the influence of other variables not examined in this study
