Abstract

The average value of the daily maximum of the highest temperature month is used as the basis for the temperature correction coefficient of the wind farm send-out transmission line to check and calculate the continuous limitation transmission capacity of the wind power transmission line under the allowable heating condition. Although it can better ensure the security operation of the transmission line, it is easy to cause the control margin of the transmission capacity of the line to be larger in other months where the temperature is far lower than the maximum temperature. In this paper, the temperature correction coefficient in different months with the average value of the daily maximum temperature of the month, wind power output characteristics, and the comprehensive allowable heating conditions continuous limitation transmission capacity calculation method from months to months are considered. An optimal control strategy for promoting the send-out line transmission capacity of the wind farm is proposed based on calculating the temperature correction coefficient accurately. Through the case study, it can be seen that the transmission capacity of wind power and utilization efficiency of the transmission line is improved by optimizing limitation transmission power of each month and giving full play to the transmission potential of the line of the wind farm in different months.
