Abstract
The article presents an analysis of current data on the need to develop effective methods for the qualitative and quantitative assessment of antidepressants during chemical and toxicological analysis. The optimal conditions for eliminating the matrix effect by extraction and sample preparation selection have been determined. A thin-layer chromatography method for the analysis of carbamazepine and fluoxetine has been developed. The selection of the mobile phase was carried out, and the optimal conditions for the purification of antidepressants were determined using the thin-layer chromatography. A UV spectrophotometry method for the determination of carbamazepine and fluoxetine has been developed, and validation characteristics of the method have been obtained.
