Abstract
Difficulties in designing the integrated optical devices by heuristic methods involving trial and error parameter proporties have led to the need to use algorithms that reduce the cost of computation. Objective First Inverse Design algorithm is a fast and effective optical device design method which has taken place in literature in recent years. In this method, the intended magnetic properties are defined as boundary-value problems, eliminating the necessity of starting from a good point. In this study, power dividers and interferometer in various configurations designed with effective use of Objective First Inverse Design algorithm are presented. It is possible to compare the algorithm performance with the heuristic design methods with the power divider and interferometer designs proposed for the first time in the literature.
