Abstract

We reported in the June issue of Physics Bulletin (Late news) that problems were being caused at the Institute Laue–Langevin (ILL) by President Carter's decision to curtail the supply of enriched uranium to foreign countries. Following President Carter's announcement at the recent London meeting to relax the embargo of delivery of highly enriched uranium to research reactors, supplies to ILL will be resumed.
