Abstract
Purpose. By analyzing the regulatory document (Rules for forensic determination of theseverity of injuries, from now on the Rules) and expert practice (expert opinion), todevelop the ways to improve certain points of the referred to ....Material and methods. The ... and cases from expert practice - 39 archive copiesof the Expert Opinions for 2014-2018 were analyzed.Results. Having investigated the cases of the bodily harm severity degree on the example of the spleen injury, we obtained contradictory results, as in fact at an injury with the samemorphological properties (spleen rupture), it was possible to diagnose different severitydegree of injuries, depending on the fact whether or not you provided medical care to theinjured person in time.Conclusion. The existing Rules of forensic medical determination of the bodily harmseverity degree require substantial processing.
