Abstract

SummaryCertain free amino acids are present in a lower concentration than normal in serum from cases with rheumatoid arthritis. This is the case with arginine, histidine, lysine, glycine and threonine. The amino acid composition of the albumin and the euglobulin fractions, on the other hand, seems to be normal.
