Abstract

Profiles with anti-slip grooves can be used for the design and modernization of machines, but the magnitude of the anti-slip effect for such profiles has not yet been fully studied. At the same time, among the causes of injuries to transport passengers, slipping on bearing contact surfaces is not uncommon. The existing scientific literature gives some idea of the factors influencing tribocontact with the macro-dimensions of surfaces. This served as the basis for the mathematical description in the article of the factorial effect on the anti-slip efficiency of the grooved profile. For this purpose, two indicators were identified that take into account the influence of the shape and number of profile irregularities. With the help of modeling tribocontact with profiles of different corrugation in the SolidWorks Motion environment, calculated values of the maximum static friction force were obtained. These values were compared with the calculated values of performance indicators, as a result of which a conclusion was made about the adequacy of the mathematical description of the factors. Keywords: machine structures, grooved profile, anti-slip surface properties, anti-slip efficiency, tribocontact, coefficient of friction, macro-dimensions
