Abstract

The traditional translation teaching in which students are passive recipients is usually teacher-centered and not conducive to students’ translation ability. Based on constructivism, with the help of multimedia network technology and by means of movie appreciation, the new translation teaching mode has many advantages: expanding the amount of teaching information; realizing the student-teacher interaction to the largest degree; stimulating students’ translation interest; creating a real language environment which can help students accurately understand the original context and gradually develop their cognitive abilities and translation capabilities in the process of the interaction with the environment.
