Abstract

The purpose of the article lies in a clearer allocation for bibliographic activities of common and distinct features of social memory and cultural heritage . Both cumulative trends in the development of bibliographic channels of information transmission ( oral , handwritten , printed , electronic-digital ), and features related to the value orientations of information consumers are considered . Conclusions are made about the methodological features of bibliography in the disclosure of model visibility of the development of culture , in forecasting the development of certain documentary and semantic directions and the probability of their entry into nuclear culture . The task is not only to preserve documentary memory and heritage with the help of bibliography , but also to more active socialization ( interiorization ) of this type of activity in society .
