Abstract
This article discusses the features of historical and cultural heritage and the current state of domestic tourism in the Southern region of Vietnam. The tangible and intangible cultural heritage in the Southern region of Vietnam is shown, and the features of the historical and cultural heritage in each province are shown. Special attention is paid to the protection and preservation of historical cultural heritage. The article considers the current state of domestic tourism after a long period, which was affected by the restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
