Abstract

1. Fixation of red cells by catalatic reaction was investigated. Red cells after the completion of the catalatic reaction are not hemolyzed with distilled water, saponin, etc.2. Fixed red cells can be preserved in water or in a dried condition.3. Intravenous injection of the fixed red cells seems to show no harmful effect on organisms.
