Abstract

This article deals with the motif of homeland in the correspondence of post-WWII Belarusian emigrants to France. The correspondence was addressed to Liavon Rydleuski, a Belarusian emigrant activist. The letters in question are located in the archives of the Francis Skaryna Library and Museum in London. The research method used is qualitative content analysis. It can be concluded that the theme of homeland as it appears in the letters is used in a non-obvious way.
