Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of the acupuncture point massage on the intestinal peristalsis recovery of patients with colorectal cancer radical surgery. Methods A total of 80 cases of patients with colorectal cancer radical surgery were randomly divided into observation group and control group.The control group was given routine nursing care, while the observation group was given the acupuncture point massage on zusanli, shangjuxu and hegu alternately 6 hours after operation on the basis of conventional nursing care.The intestinal peristalsis recovery of patients of the two groups were compared. Results The differences in terms of the situation of intestinal peristalsis, anal exhaust time defecation time for the first time, postoperative condition of defecation and reliance on drugs between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Acupoint massage can obviously reduce the recovery time of intestinal function of patients with colorectal cancer radical surgery after operation, and meanwhile the operation is simple, so it is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
