Abstract
Magnetic-field effects accompanying ${\mathrm{O}}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$ photodetachment have been investigated using a high-resolution crossed-beams apparatus. Periodic structures in the photodetachment cross section, due to Landau resonances, have been observed in the previously uninvestigated regime at laser frequencies well above the reaction threshold and at very low magnetic-field strengths. The resonances have a Landau quantum number of about 3065.
