Abstract

We observe a narrow enhancement in phiK/sup +/K/sup -/ and phi..pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/ final states, with a mass of 2.141 +- 0.012 +- 0.010 GeV/c/sup 2/ and width of 0.049 +- 0.028 GeV/c/sup 2/. The relative branching ratio is B(M..-->..phiK/sup +/K/sup -/)/B(M..-->..phi..pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/ ) = 0.49 +- 0.16, inconsistent with M being a qq-bar state.
