Abstract

The only study dedicated to the Dudesti ceramics from Drăghiceanu-La Movile is Alexandru Păunescu's article about the archaeological investigations undertaken in 1960. The analysis of the 850 ceramic shards, kept at the „Teohari Antonescu” Museum of Giurgiu, allows the establishment of decorative techniques and ornamental motifs that revealed numerous analogies with the ceramic material of the Dudești culture from the western Muntenia with those from the eastern Oltenia.
