Abstract
This paper presents a modular Grad–Div(GD) algorithm based on Crank–Nicolson LeapFrog (CNLF) scheme for the non-stationary Navier–Stokes model, which is second-order accurate. The CNLF modular Grad–Div(CNLF-MGD) method has the obvious advantage that the computational efficiency will not crash or slow down with the large parameters. Stability and error estimate of the numerical method are given. Some numerical tests are proposed to justify the theoretical analysis.
