Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of nuclear power plants construction in developing countries as one of the main directions in Russian foreign economic policy in the international construction services ’market in the globalization context. The purpose of the article is to analyze the current situation and determine the prospects of the Russian Federation in the world market of nuclear building construction services. The research methodology is based on an integrated approach to research issues and includes methods of the general scientific group (analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction), as well as groups of special methods: content analysis of scientific literature and legislative acts; analysis of statistical data, as well as a retrospective analysis method. In order to determine the development directions of the Russian Federation on the world market of nuclear building construction services, a systematic and historical approach were applied. The objectives of the article are: to identify the main foreign economic interests of the Russian Federation in the world market of nuclear building construction services and determine the prospects for the development of Russian foreign economic interests in this market. Based on the study, the author of the article determines that currently the leading direction of the Russian foreign economic interests in the world market of nuclear building construction services is the construction of nuclear power plants in developing countries. In the article it is proved that the Russian Federation has all the necessary resource and technological capabilities to strengthen its position in the world market of nuclear building construction services in the developed countries of the European Union, even under the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation by these countries.
