Abstract
This work reported a novel three-dimensional Mo2C/carbon nanotubes (CNTs) composites constructed on Cu foam (Mo2C/CNTs/CF) by a chemical vapor deposition, subsequent physical vapor deposition and eventual carbides treatment. The prepared electrode possessed large specific surface area, plentiful active spots and low charge transfer resistance which afforded 255 mV overpotential to drive 10 mA cm−2 and Tafel slope of 103 mV dec-1 in acid solution.
