Abstract
The giant magnetostrictive actuators' relationship between output strain and input magnetic field shows nonlinearities and hysteresis. In order to improve control and use the actuator, it is obvious to understand the nonlinear characteristics of the actuator operation process. Consider magnetic field losses at high frequencies. Then a nonlinear mathematical model of giant magnetostrictive actuators hysteresis is established by combining quadratic domain rotation model, Jiles-Atherton hysteresis model and actuator structure dynamics principle. Through simulation analysis of nonlinear mathematical model, the effect law of relevant variables on output performance during the working process of the actuator is known.
