Abstract
The legacy of the past century about the use of the modern technology in the service of ideologies of hate and supremacy continues on. One reality is that mighty nations still believe that they can declare pre-emptive wars, last experienced during the Third Reich and the Soviet period, without qualms. Another reality is that ‘terrorists’ and ‘freedom fighters’ continue to indiscriminately kill innocent men, women, and children in their zeal to fulfill anachronistic nationalistic and religious goals.
