Abstract
In this paper, non-fragile observer-based reliable passive controller design problem is investigated for a class of fractional-order nonlinear system subject to actuator fault. First, an indirect Lyapunov method is employed to transform fractional-order system into a continuous frequency distributed model. Then some sufficient conditions, which can guarantee the fractional-order closed-loop system under known and unknown actuator fault to be asymptotically stable, are derived based on Lyapunov stability theory. Futhermore, a non-fragile observer-based reliable passive controller is designed by using linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
