Abstract

Abstract NiMark I is a vacuum melted low-carbon alloy steel in which yield strengths in excess of 240,000 psi can be developed. It is readily weldable and exhibits good ductility at high strength levels. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SA-177.
