Abstract
This contribution offers a reflection on the training methods and forms able to support schools in the current phase of ongoing emergency with the purpose of rethinking school improvement methods and professional development programs beyond the pandemic crisis. This reflection starts with the description of “Bicocca con le Scuole”, a project launched in March 2020 by the University’s Primary Education Degree Programme to support and train teachers. It then considers the results of recent research on remote teaching and learning conducted both internationally and within this project. “Bicocca con le Scuole”, composed of an online platform to share experience and practices, webinars and training programmes, reveals the need for a reconfiguration of the relationship between University and the school system based on a holistic approach.
