Abstract

STEAM education for children has become a trend in early childhood education in recent years. It is an interdisciplinary approach to education that makes learning practical and relevant to children's daily lives. Using the survey questionnaire, the subjects were 25 teachers participating in the STEAM education project training at a preschool in Hanoi, combined with the semi-structured interview method, the research results showed the awareness of STEAM education, on the organization of the STEAM education project of teachers, there were significant changes after the training. Teachers' confidence in their ability to implement STEAM educational projects is also increased. However, they also found it difficult to prepare materials to organize projects for children, difficult to evaluate children in STEAM educational projects. The article also proposes a suitable training model for preschool teachers from theory to practice in today's preschools.
