Abstract NAS 74N is a super duplex stainless steel with very high molybdenum for pitting and crevice corrosion resistance and a duplex microstructure for resistance to stress-corrosion cracking. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: SS-1070.
