Abstract CARPENTER AL-6XN is an improved version of AL-6X (Alloy Digest SS-349, April 1978), with higher nitrogen. The alloy is improved in pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-607. Producer or source: Carpenter.
