Abstract
Two new flavonoids have been isolated from the ethanolic extract of the leaves of Rhus lancea along with three common flavonols kaempferol, quercetin and myricetin. One has been characterized as 3,5,3′,5′-tetrahydroxy-7,4′-dimethoxyflavone (7,4′-di- O-methylmyricetin) while the other is its 3- O-galactoside.
