Abstract

Brawijaya Museum and Legitimacy of Military Power. This study aims to describe how the legitimacy of military power is seen in the Braijaya Museum, Malang City. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a semiotic approach. The theory used is the semiotic theory of Ferdinand de Saussure. The results showed that during the New Order era the military was used as the application of ideology and instilling national values.
