Abstract

Evolution And Diffusion Of Culture In The Atut Dynasty In Banten. Ratu Atut is known as a great woman who was able to lead a new province in 2000 when Banten broke away from West Java and formed a new province. Indirectly, she was able to open the eyes of the wider community and emphasize that women can also become leaders. Not only in a small area, but in a big one at the same time. This is clearly related to the theory of cultural evolution, that in ancient times women in several traditions were prohibited from becoming leaders. From this, two interesting questions can be found to be discussed in the discussion. First, what is the cultural evolution of the role of women in the Atut dynasty in the public sector? Second, how is the distribution of Ratu Atut's family in leading the areas in Banten? From these two questions the author needs a lot of data to answer accurately. These data become a source for the author to link cultural evolution with women's career paths and cultural diffusion with the spread of the Atut Dynasty. Thus, in the discussion of this article it is necessary to adjust these two different aspects. Keywords: The atut dynasty; evolution; diffusion; woman.
